Respiration belt: location confirmed in BIOPAC materials (Respiration Transducer). ECG electrodes: standard BIOPAC lead II configuration, adapted to the torso — for illustration purposes. A ground (GND) electrode is required in every ECG connection; its exact position on the torso is approximate.
Below the subject's right collarbone — the standard lead II (Einthoven) configuration, adapted to the torso. RA is the ECG designation (Right Arm), moved from the arm to the torso.
A third electrode, required in every ECG connection — it drains mains interference and noise. The BN-ELxx-LEAD3 cable establishes this connection.
On the subject's left lower ribs — together with the negative electrode it forms lead II. LL is the ECG designation (Left Leg), moved in BioNomadix from the leg to the torso, since the leads do not reach the limbs.
Around the torso, approx. 5 cm below the armpits — at the level of maximum chest expansion during breathing.
The BN-RSPEC measures a single limb lead: II (LL−RA). This is not the full Einthoven triangle — the LA electrode is missing, so leads I and III are not available.
