BioNomadix RSP+ECG is an expansion module, not a standalone system

The BioNomadix transmitter and receiver alone do not record or store data. Measurement requires an MP200 data acquisition unit (or the older MP160/MP150) together with AcqKnowledge software.

The BioNomadix RSP+ECG receiver plugs into an MP200 channel input, and the recorded signal joins a common, synchronized timeline alongside other modules — both wired and wireless.

Where to place the sensors

Respiration belt: location confirmed in BIOPAC materials (Respiration Transducer). ECG electrodes: standard BIOPAC lead II configuration, adapted to the torso — for illustration purposes. A ground (GND) electrode is required in every ECG connection; its exact position on the torso is approximate.

Lead II only

The BN-RSPEC measures a single limb lead: II (LL−RA). This is not the full Einthoven triangle — the LA electrode is missing, so leads I and III are not available.

GND is a reference electrode that reduces interference — it is not part of the differential measurement itself.
