Our History
Who we are? We are the oldest authorized distributor of measurement equipment for fiber-optic telecommunications and photonics in Poland. For nearly 4 decades we have been delivering advanced research instruments, scalable optical solutions for operators, and reliable equipment for building and maintaining network infrastructure.
- 1987 — Founding of INTERLAB (originally a civil-law partnership). From day one, we have focused on measurement equipment for Polish telecommunications.
- The 1990s — Building a leadership position in the supply of measurement equipment for Poland’s growing telecommunications networks. Establishing long-term partnerships with Japanese and American manufacturers.
- 2001 — Transformation into a limited liability company. Entry in the National Court Register (KRS 0000086600).
- 2000–2010 — Expansion of the offering to include photonics, fiber-optic sensors (LUNA Innovations), precision optomechanics, and research instruments for university laboratories.
- 2010–2020 — Obtaining manufacturer authorization for the repair and calibration of AEM and AFL equipment — the beginning of servicing customers from across the European Union in our Warsaw laboratory.
- Today — We continue to grow as the oldest, largest, and most recognizable Polish company in the industry. The company has undergone a successful generational transition — the second generation of the founders sits on the board. We remain a family-owned business with 100% Polish capital.

A multidimensional approach to technology
R&D and Innovation Department
Our dedicated Photonics and Innovation department works on unique technological solutions. We handle the characterization of optical components, device testing, and support the development of new production lines and quality-control stations for Polish technology companies.
Research Equipment
We specialize in selecting equipment and preparing stations that enable complex and integrated measurements of human behavior. Our offering supports academic units and research institutes in areas including Eye Tracking, Virtual Reality (VR goggles), EEG and fNIRS systems, and the precise recording and analysis of psychophysiological data.
Optomechanics
Building experiments and prototypes requires not only sound technical expertise and electronics knowledge, but also stable mechanical mounting. Our scope of services includes the selection of optical tables and stations, advanced cage systems (CAGE), and anti-vibration mounts from renowned brands such as OptoSigma.
Unique technical facilities
Official service and calibration center
We are the only company in Poland offering such a comprehensive range of technical support. We have our own, modern, fully equipped laboratory in Warsaw. We act as an authorized warranty and post-warranty service center and perform certified calibration for, among others, Yokogawa devices, AFL reflectometers, and AEM meters. We maintain a large stock of spare parts and replacement units, ensuring continuity of operation for our customers.

Since 1987 we have been supplying professional measurement equipment from the world’s best manufacturers to the Polish market. We build our offering on long-standing partnerships with leading brands — including Furukawa-FITEL, Yokogawa, AFL, AEM, OptoTest, FiberFox, LUNA Innovations, NKT Photonics, Tobii Pro, BIOPAC, and many others. - Service and calibration
In our own laboratory in Warsaw we perform technical inspections, diagnostics, and repairs (authorized service center for Furukawa-FITEL, Yokogawa, FiberFox, OptoTest, AEM, AFL), calibration and standardization with a return certificate, and spare-part replacement. We serve customers from across the EU as the European service center for the AEM and AFL brands. - Training and technical consultation
We organize training in the operation of measurement equipment and provide technical consultation for customers implementing new measurement technologies. - Optimization of production processes

INTERLAB’s headquarters and service and calibration laboratory are located in Warsaw at ul. Kosiarzy 37 pawilon 20, 02-953 Warszawa. The office is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 16:00.
INTERLAB specializes in supplying measurement equipment for fiber-optic telecommunications and photonics. We offer OTDR reflectometers, fiber-optic splicers, power meters, light sources, optical spectrum analyzers (OSA), structured-cabling certifiers, research instruments for laboratories, and distributed fiber-optic sensing systems (DFOS: DAS, DTS, DSS, FBG).
INTERLAB is the official service and calibration center for six brands: Furukawa-FITEL, Yokogawa, FiberFox, AEM, AFL, and OptoTest (Santec group). For AEM and AFL we hold manufacturer accreditation for repairs and calibration and act as the European service center, serving customers from across the European Union.
Yes. In our own laboratory in Warsaw we perform calibration and service of OTDR optical reflectometers from Yokogawa, AFL, AEM, and Furukawa-FITEL. For AEM and AFL, as the European service center, we also serve customers from other European Union countries.
Yes. We are the distributor and official service center for Furukawa-FITEL splicers in Poland. We offer, among others, the Ninja, S179+, S153, S326, and S327 models, as well as a full range of accessories and spare parts. We perform service and calibration of Furukawa-FITEL splicers in our Warsaw laboratory.

We offer OTDR reflectometers (Yokogawa AQ7290, AQ7280, AQ1210, AQ1200, AQ1000), optical spectrum analyzers (AQ6370, AQ6374, AQ6375, AQ6376, AQ6377), and other Yokogawa Test & Measurement devices.
Yes. We provide training in the operation of fiber-optic splicers, OTDR reflectometers, OSA analyzers, and other measurement devices from our offering. Training can take place at the customer’s premises or in our laboratory in Warsaw.
Yes. We are a long-standing supplier of measurement equipment to the Polish Armed Forces, the Military University of Technology, the Police, and other institutions related to national security. We have experience in carrying out deliveries compliant with public procurement requirements.

Yes. INTERLAB offers distributed fiber-optic sensing systems (DFOS) based on LUNA Innovations technology: DAS (Distributed Acoustic Sensing), DTS (Distributed Temperature Sensing), and DSS (Distributed Strain Sensing) systems. We also supply FBG meters and sensors as well as sensing cables for monitoring critical infrastructure.
Yes. We are the official service center for the AEM brand — a manufacturer of LAN network testers for certifying structured cabling in Cat 6A, 7, 8 (AEM TestPro CV100). As the European AEM service and calibration center, we serve customers from across the European Union.
