Albedo ETHER.GIGA

Albedo Ether.Giga is a modern 10/100/1000 Ethernet network tester. Thanks to the use of the latest FPGA chips, the device offers very fast operation and incredibly convenient, simple handling. In addition to standard test functions such as RFC2544 or BER measurement, Ether.Giga implements the latest measurement functions such as ITU-T Y.1564 (e-SAM) and ITU-T Y.1531.

Albedo Ether.Giga tester - product description

Albedo Ether.Giga is a modern 10/100/1000 Ethernet network telecom tester. Thanks to the use of the latest FPGA chips, the device offers very fast operation and incredibly convenient, simple handling. In addition to standard test functions such as RFC2544 or BER measurement, Ether.Giga implements the latest measurement functions such as ITU-T Y.1564 (e-SAM) and ITU-T Y.1531.

Measurements according to this latest recommendation allow for fast network testing that accounts for multi-stream transmission. The test consists of two stages:

Service configuration test, allowing quick verification of network settings by examining key parameters such as IR (Information Rate), FDV (Frame Delay Variation), FLR (Frame Loss Ratio) and FLRSAC (Frame Loss Ratio at the Service Acceptance Criteria)
Service performance test, based on traffic transmission on all configured streams, confirming network operation under full load, with measurement of IR, FDV, FLR and availability parameters.
