The instrument was designed and is manufactured in Europe. It is the successor to the popular Victor Plus E1 tester model.

The AT-2048 is the most technologically advanced design of its kind on the market. Thanks to the use of highly efficient and modern FPGA circuits, the tester delivers lightning-fast operation together with exceptional performance and accuracy. It also features the latest DATACOM connectors – SmartSerial 26p DTE/DCE.
