AFL FOCIS Lightning for MPO Connectors

FOCIS Lightning is a self-contained inspection probe with a built-in display, designed for automatic inspection of multifiber connectors. It is intended primarily for MPO and MTP® connectors or adapters, including multi-row variants.

The FOCIS Lightning probe is designed for the inspection of fiber connectors and adapters, including MPO and MTP® connectors, including multi-row variants. FOCIS Lightning has built-in standards or can operate on user-defined standards to deliver precise analysis of cleanliness in an average time of one second per fiber. FOCIS Lightning stores the analysis results for each fiber, along with its image and grading result. Results can be transferred via a wireless WiFi or Bluetooth connection. The AFL FOCIS app, available for iOS and Android, offers a comprehensive and user-friendly set of features and provides connectivity to the aeRos® cloud.

Pass/fail test performed in a second: With a single button press, FOCIS Lightning automatically focuses and centers the image, performs the analysis and presents the final result based on built-in or user-defined standards.

Wireless operation: Equipped with a battery and a 2.4-inch color TFT LCD display, it is capable of operating as a standalone device.
