The AQ6374 wide-range optical spectrum analyzer covers wavelengths from 350 to 1750 nm, including visible light (380 to 780 nm) and telecommunication wavelengths.

Wavelength resolution settings:


Eight wavelength resolution settings are available: from 0.05 to 10 nm, allowing the user to choose the best value intended for testing the device / system.

Measurable level range:

The wide measurable level range spans from -80 to +20 dBm. This is suitable for measuring high power as well as low-power sources used in various application areas.

Wavelength accuracy:

Wavelength accuracy of ± 0.05 nm can be maintained through calibration using a built-in reference light source or an external light source, including a HeNe laser and an argon light source.

Fast measurement:

The instrument takes only 0.5 s for a 100 nm span (with sensitivity set to NORM_AUTO).

Sampling rate 100001:

The number of wavelength samples has been doubled. A single sweep can measure a wider wavelength range at high resolution.

Mouse and keyboard support:

Over 30 years of user feedback has enabled intuitive and easy operation of the front panel. Mouse functions make navigation easier, and the keyboard helps with entering numbers and file names.
Zoom tracking:
  • Change display conditions, such as center wavelength and span, by clicking and dragging with the mouse.
  • Enlarge the area of interest instantly and move it at will.
  • There is no need to perform another measurement to modify the display conditions.
Trace calculation and analysis:

Seven individual programs
  • Simultaneous multi-trace display
  • Inter-trace calculation (subtraction between traces)
  • Max / Min hold function
USB ports

Four USB ports available at the front and rear make it easy to use external devices such as a mouse, keyboard, external hard drives and memory cards.

All-at-once mode

A time-saving function that lets you save all seven traces in a single file at once. Files are saved in CSV format and can be easily manipulated using application software on a computer.
