Rollable Ribbon is a revolutionary cable format combining the advantages of loose fibers and traditional ribbon. The ribbon is flexible — it bends, rolls and forms like a bundle of loose fibers — yet retains the ribbon structure that enables mass splicing.The FEC 6912f cable with Rollable Ribbon fibers replaces a traditional 864-fiber cable at the same outer diameter — which means 8 times higher fiber density. The FITEL S124X is optimized for splicing 200 µm Rollable Ribbon up to 16 fibers.

Interchangeable V-groove guides — fast format change

Switching between the 250 µm and 200 µm formats takes a dozen or so seconds. The FVG-12-P250 and FVG-12-P200 guides are easily interchangeable without tools — the technician switches between cable types in the field without downtime.
