Net.Hunter is a unique device that allows network traffic to be captured without any impact on transmission parameters (zero lost packets, no additional latency). Packet capture is performed in hardware, and in inline mode the device can monitor and capture packets that meet the criteria matching the defined filters. All of this can take place at full interface line rate (1+1 G), on both copper and optical interfaces. Captured packets in PCAP format can be saved to the device’s internal SSD, or forwarded to a mirror port. Analysis of the captured packets can be performed using protocol analysis software such as Wireshark.

Net.Hunter is used in many fields, ranging from research applications to applications related to security, tracking and privacy protection.
