The AFL FlowScout Quad OLTS is a Tier 1 certification-grade OLTS tester for fast, accurate insertion loss measurement and certification of duplex fiber links — both single-mode and multimode. Ideal for LANs and data centers; it can also operate as a standalone optical power meter or light source.

The AFL FlowScout Quad OLTS is the ideal tool for fiber certification in enterprise LANs and data centers. It is designed for fast, accurate insertion loss (Tier 1) certification of duplex fiber links, with the ability to test both single-mode and multimode fibers. Beyond Tier I certification, the unit can serve as a standalone optical power meter or light source, and thanks to the Wave ID format it automatically recognizes the wavelengths of signals sent from other AFL devices.

The FlowScout Quad OLTS automatically evaluates insertion loss pass/fail against standards or user limits, and the large color touchscreen presents measured power levels with color-coded result indication.

All-in-one solution

The FlowScout Quad OLTS is a pair of handheld testers supporting native duplex testing in multimode and single-mode technology within a single kit — with no need for separate devices for each fiber type.

One reporting platform

Measured pass/fail limits and device information can be transferred from internal memory via Bluetooth or USB. Using the free AFL FlexApp (iOS/Android), test results can be wirelessly uploaded to the AFL FlexReporter™ cloud for analysis, editing, and report generation in FlexReports PC software.
