AFL FlexScan FS300 OTDR (SM+MM)

AFL FlexScan FS300 is a QUAD (SM+MM) OTDR that enables fast, accurate and fully automatic characterisation of modern fiber optic networks, including FTTx networks based on PON technology. Thanks to the very compact size of the device and its large touchscreen, the FlexScan is highly portable and extremely easy to use.

Ready for anything: SmartAuto system with multi-pulse acquisition, 37 dB dynamic range and a best-in-class dead zone. The FlexScan Quad OTDR supports both single-mode and multimode networks, including FTTH, PON and POLAN up to a 1:64 split ratio.

User-friendly: optical reflectometer FlexScan enables both beginners and experts to quickly, accurately and precisely detect, locate, identify and measure optical network components and their faults. Once industry standards or user pass/fail criteria are entered, the network is displayed using the intuitive LinkMap icon view. Results can be saved as PDF and stored in internal or external memory. FlexScan automatically sets and verifies the measurement parameters, reduces measurement time and simplifies interpretation of the results, increasing productivity and reducing costs.

Pocket-sized reflectometer: The FlexScan reflectometer fits into a larger pocket, and its battery lasts a full working day on a wide, bright 5-inch, 800×480 touchscreen designed for both indoor and outdoor use.

All-in-one: With optional connector inspection, an integrated optical light source, power meter and Visual Fault Locator, the FlexScan is a one-stop solution, assuring technicians they have everything they need to quickly and effectively locate and resolve any fiber optic network issue. Uploaded measurements can be reviewed, and professional reports can be generated using the Windows-compatible TRM® 3.0 software.
