ToupTek SWIR Sony IMX990 is a short-wave infrared camera with a Sony IMX990 SenSWIR InGaAs sensor of 1.3 MP resolution (1280×1024) and 5 µm pixel, imaging in the 400–1700 nm range. Balanced sensitivity and speed – a versatile choice for most SWIR applications.
A SWIR camera captures images in the short-wave infrared band – it lets you “see” what is invisible in visible light, while differing from thermal imaging (LWIR), which relies on heat radiation. This makes SWIR ideal for material analysis, moisture detection, silicon inspection, and imaging through fog, smoke, and dust.
