The OP415 is designed for efficient testing of 24-fiber MTP®/MPO connectors and can be easily configured to test 8-fiber and 12-fiber connectors. It comes factory-equipped with 12-fiber and 24-fiber polarity types A, B, and C, along with the ability to create and store custom fiber mappings and channel configurations. Alternatively, the OP415 can learn polarity types from existing cables and store them for future use.

– Interchangeable front-panel adapters for use with 16-, 12-, or 8-fiber MTP® / MPO configurations
– Test polarity types A, B, C or custom configurations:

(1) Simple Pass / Fail with a predefined polarity type

(2) or determine the polarity type of the cable
– The device learns polarity types from existing cables and saves the custom polarity for instant lookup
– Visual fault locator with 24 individual bright red 650 nm lasers helps with visual channel identification and routing
– Especially useful for round, non-keyed fibers
– Power level display provides valuable feedback on the termination quality per channel
– Built-in memory stores results for later analysis
– Color touchscreen shows a graphical fiber mapping
