StaxxBeam is a series of single-frequency lasers from Oxxius, emitting at a single, precisely defined optical frequency with a linewidth below 1 MHz — which translates into an extremely long coherence length (hundreds of meters). It covers the 473–1064 nm range and powers up to 800 mW. These are sources created for applications requiring the highest spectral purity: Raman and Brillouin spectroscopy, interferometry, holography and dynamic light scattering (DLS).

What are StaxxBeam single-frequency lasers?

A single-frequency laser emits a single longitudinal mode, eliminating mode hops and ensuring stable, long coherence. StaxxBeam uses Oxxius’s proprietary, monolithic resonator technology (protected by more than a dozen patents) for the DPSS models and stabilized diodes for the near-infrared. The DPSS models (LCX/LPX) deliver the narrowest linewidth in the visible band (532–561 nm, 1064 nm), while the diode models (LBX/LSX) simplify integration in the NIR band (633, 785, 830 nm).
