FlexxRay is a series of compact CW and modulated lasers from Oxxius, covering more than 30 wavelengths in the 375–1064 nm range (UV–VIS–NIR), with power up to 1000 mW. It combines two technologies — diode lasers (LBX) and DPSS lasers (LCX/LPX) with frequency conversion — delivering a TEM₀₀ beam of excellent quality, low optical noise and high stability. It is a versatile light source for fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, spectroscopy and OEM integration.
FlexxRay lasers are designed as ready-to-integrate laser sources with industrial reliability. Integrated control electronics, a stable mechanical design and a standard 100×40 mm footprint make them suitable both for laboratory use (plug-and-play version) and for embedding in equipment (OEM version). Diode models (LBX) provide fast direct modulation and a wide choice of wavelengths, while DPSS models (LCX/LPX) offer a narrow spectral linewidth for wavelengths not directly available from a diode — 532, 553, 561 and 607 nm.
The FlexxRay series combines two complementary technologies. The choice depends on the wavelength and the required spectral purity:
