Browse the departmentSoftware for human behavior research. It records mobile eye trackers, cameras, a microphone, physiological signals and simulator or vehicle data at the same time — for one person or a whole group — and takes you from recording to a report with attention metrics.

In human behavior research, each device usually has its own software, its own clock and its own file. Eye tracking glasses record gaze, a camera — video, a skin sensor — arousal, and a simulator — what happened in the scenario. Putting it all together can take longer than the study itself.
Prophea.X records all these sources at the same time and stores them on a shared timeline. Afterwards, one click takes you to the moment of an event, and you see where the participant was looking, how their body reacted and what they were doing.
Eye tracking glasses, cameras, a microphone, physiological sensors, a simulator or a vehicle — via USB, network (TCP/IP), LSL, CAN-Bus or ROS 2.
Prophea Data Engine triggers the recording on all devices at once. You see the camera video, the gaze point and signal charts live.
You open a single project file in Prophea Analyzer: replay everything together, define areas of interest, calculate metrics and export a report.
Separate programs: each device starts at a different moment and keeps its own time — the same situation (yellow line) falls at different points in each recording.
Each device answers a different question: what the participant looked at, what was going on in their mind and body, how they moved and what was happening around them. Only together do they show the whole situation.
Where the participant looks, for how long and in what order — from mobile eye trackers.
EEG signals for studying cognitive state and mental workload; interpretation requires an appropriate research method.
What was happening around: video and sound, movement, location and machine state.
Physiological signals for studying arousal and bodily responses; they are not a standalone measure of stress.
Prophea Data Engine records and displays data live. Prophea Analyzer opens the same project for analysis and reporting — all in one workflow, with no moving files between programs.

Before you hit “start”, you describe the study: which tasks the participant will perform, which devices you collect data from and which groups the participants belong to.

The recording starts on all devices at the same time — in the lab or in the field, wired or over a wireless network. In the screenshot: two pairs of Tobii Pro Glasses 3 and two webcams recorded together in a tennis hall.

The screenshot shows a typical view: two recordings from eye tracking glasses, a room camera and a chart of gaze channels — you move one playhead and everything moves together.

You present results with the built-in reporting tool or take them into your own statistical analyses — nothing stays locked in the software.
The same application handles two pairs of glasses on a tennis court and a room with a simulator, cameras and several workstations. Only the way they are connected changes.

You connect glasses, cameras and microphones to one laptop — wirelessly, via Ethernet or USB. This is what a study in a store, on a sports field or in a car looks like.
Cameras can run on a mini PC, glasses on separate laptops and the simulator on its own computer. Data Engine connects them over a wired or wireless network and triggers them all together.

Prophea.X is an ecosystem of modules on a shared core. You buy what today’s project needs and add further sensors and analyses to the same environment.
Synchronous recording of any sensors, live preview, global triggering and raw data export. Can work on its own.
recording · synchronizationAnalysis of studies with mobile eye trackers: areas of interest, more than 30 metrics, heat maps, gaze paths and reports.
eye tracking analysisAn AI module that recognizes objects and patterns in video. It defines areas of interest without markers and without manual frame-by-frame coding.
object recognition · AIA shared analysis environment for all modules — one participant or a whole group, teamwork on one license.
analysis · reporting · teamThe manufacturer is developing further modules, including video analysis and behavior coding, motion, audio and AR/MR/VR. We confirm the availability of a specific module in our quote.
Three inputs for synchronous recording: the sensor specific to the module (e.g. a mobile eye tracker), one USB or network camera and one microphone.
You choose the master frequency and the synchronization mechanism yourself — Data Engine accepts data regardless of its format and frequency. Via Lab Streaming Layer (LSL), the manufacturer states access to more than 120 sensors and devices.
Eye tracking glasses record video from the participant’s perspective and the point they are looking at at any given moment. Prophea eye turns this recording into numbers: how long, how often and in what order the participant looked at selected areas — a sign, a cockpit instrument, a screen, the face of the person they are talking to.
An area (AOI) defined once is recognized in the recordings of all or selected participants, even during fast head movements. You calculate metrics for static and moving AOIs.
The Prophea autorecog module detects defined objects on its own — a traffic light, a lane, a car — and counts the glances at them. No markers to attach and no manual coding.
Gaze referenced to the field of view regardless of head movement.
Detection of blinks and eye closure, eyelid opening, pupil diameter.
Insight into how each metric is calculated and full control over its parameters.
Static heat maps and dynamic ones on video, gaze paths, mapping gaze onto an image.

Prophea eye synchronizes any number of simultaneously recording glasses — currently Dikablis Glasses X and Tobii Pro Glasses 3. Shared areas of interest work for all participants, reducing repetitive work in group analysis. Analysis time depends on the recordings and the scope of the study.
This is how you study what cannot be recorded individually: a team in a control room, a crew on the bridge, a team on the field, students in a classroom.
Metrics for areas of interest calculated according to ISO 15007. Click a metric to see what it means.
The number of glances at a selected area of interest (AOI) within a given time interval.
Prophea eye works with two glasses models, both connected to Data Engine without additional configuration. You can combine them in one study.

No. Prophea eye works with Dikablis Glasses X and with Tobii Pro Glasses 3. If you already have Glasses 3, you can start with the software alone. Other devices — cameras, physiological sensors, a simulator — connect to Data Engine via LSL, TCP/IP, CAN-Bus, ROS 2 or an API.
No. Prophea.X processes data 100% locally and can work offline, behind your institution’s firewall. Recordings and results stay on your computers.
It depends on the Data Engine package: Lite has 3 inputs, Standard 7, Extended up to 20, and Unlimited is licensed individually with no limit on streams. The manufacturer shows four eye trackers recorded and analyzed on one standard laptop; larger setups work on a local network.
