IQTLS is a laser combining high output power, narrow 100 kHz linewidth and 0.01 pm resolution tunability. It can be controlled locally via USB or Ethernet ports and is SCPI VXI-11 compliant.
Features:
– Benchtop, tunable light source
– Narrow 100 kHz linewidth
– Full tunability across the entire C-band
– Improved calibration process
– 0.01 pm tuning resolution
– Up to 15 dBm of power
– Single or dual laser configurations
– Remote control (Ethernet or USB)
– Intuitive, easy-to-use software
Ultimate power accuracy: IQTLS delivers advanced calibration for a flat response, ideal for applications including coherent / OFDM transmission and WDM networks.
Instant and intuitive local control
You can control the wavelength and power for one or both lasers using the dial on the IQTLS front panel – one simple, intuitive control for instant results.
Powerful, intuitive remote control
The Test Instrument Manager (TIM) application puts the remote at your fingertips via the USB ports or the Ethernet port at the back of the device. This powerful and intuitive software provides instant access to browsing status and remote control of the laser(s). And because it is SCPI compliant – you can automate your commands at will.
Smarter calibration for more efficient characterization
The IQTLS from CoherentSolutions provides high power calibration while delivering a uniform power response. With lasers fully controlled by software, you can see how each one performs to achieve consistent results.
The figure below shows the output power precision for a standard ITLA laser. The output power is recorded using NIST-traceable power meters. Measurements for each laser were taken at 10 wavelengths for 7 different power settings. The data comes from a random sample of 12 lasers.
The chart below shows the case where the measurement was taken with the lasers integrated into a single IQTLS controller controlled by the TIM application. The output power across the entire wavelength range is 0.2 dB.
