ToupTek CamPI – Intelligent Camera Control Platform (SoC, HDMI, Touchscreen)

ToupTek CamPI is an intelligent SoC platform combining computing power with camera control. HCMOS cameras connect with a single HDMI cable, and operation (live preview, snapshots, recording, measurements) is handled through a multi-touch TFT-LCD screen – without a keyboard, mouse, or computer.

What is a machine vision camera?

Machine vision cameras are used for automated inspection, measurement, and imaging in manufacturing and research. Key aspects are: shutter type (global shutter eliminates fast-motion distortion), data interface (USB3/GigE/10GigE/CameraLink/CoaXPress), triggering and inputs/outputs (synchronization with light sources and drives), and cross-platform SDKs for integration.

Key features

  • SoC platform: computing + camera control in one
  • Connect an HCMOS camera with a single HDMI cable (no drivers)
  • Multi-touch TFT-LCD screen (various diagonals and resolutions)
  • Open SDK – build your own image processing applications
  • Modular design (core board + interface board), embeddable
  • Compact, portable – microscopy, inspection, intelligent analysis
