The ProCleave LD II is an automatic and highly advanced cleaver for large-diameter fibers up to 550 μm. The cleaver has been specially designed for use on production lines, where ease of use, process speed and high production throughput are critical. At the same time, the cleaver is well suited to R&D environments.

The ProCleave LD II generates very flat end faces and low cleave angles (typically <0.5°) with high repeatability.

To achieve optimal cleave performance and consistency, all key parameters are automatically monitored and controlled.

The ProCleave LD II features a unique and universal clamping mechanism that self-adjusts to the diameter of the fiber used; no external parts or accessories are required.

The ProCleave LD II can be programmed with four different cleave programs, which can be easily selected via the touch panel.

The ProCleave LD II is powered by an external power source or a built-in battery.
