LOR-200

The LOR-200 is a family of portable optical reflectometers. The instrument features a touchscreen that makes work easier for the user. It is integrated with a computer running Windows.

The LOR-200 is based on innovative scanning technology (US patent no. 7,593,098). It achieves excellent dynamic range and enables high-resolution characterization of optical fibers over a total distance of up to 160 km.

The LOR-200 is optimally designed for telecommunications applications, typical wavelength range: from 1000 nm to 1650 nm. It offers industry-leading resolution. Many different wavelength options are available, and up to 4 different transmitters can be integrated into a single module. Fiber options include single-mode and multimode versions. In addition, a model dedicated to FTTx applications is available. This version allows testing of passive optical network (PON) services and can easily handle optical splitters. All necessary filter components, including Raman scattering filters, are contained within this OTDR.
