Description and specification

Net.Hunter is a unique device that allows capturing network traffic without any impact on transmission parameters (zero lost packets, no additional latency). Packet capture is performed in hardware, and in inline mode the device can monitor and capture packets meeting the criteria matching the defined filters. All of this can take place at full interface line rate (1+1 G), on both copper and optical interfaces. Captured packets in PCAP format can be stored on the device’s internal SSD, or forwarded to a mirror port. Analysis of the captured packets can be performed using protocol analysis software, e.g. Wireshark.

Net.Hunter finds application in many fields, ranging from research use to applications related to security, tracking and privacy protection.
