AC 8 NT fiber optic accelerometer, specially designed to measure high acceleration levels and high vibration frequencies.

A single-axis Fiber Bragg Grating based accelerometer intended to measure high acceleration values up to 2000 m/s2. The reinforced sensor will survive the harshest conditions and is able to withstand shocks up to 5000 m/s2. With a wide frequency bandwidth and unprecedented sensitivity, the sensor can be used in a wide range of applications.

Applications: railway tracks, pantographs, power lines.
