ACT6000

  • Measurements in the band up to 30 MHz
  • Automatic line qualification for broadband services (ISDN, HDSL 1p, HDSP 2p, E1, T1, SHDSL, ADSL, ADSL2+, VDSL2-12, 17, 30)
  • Single-ended line measurements (including attenuation and bit-rate estimation)
  • Built-in TDR reflectometer (option)

The ACT6000 tester combines various types of transmission measurements, copper cable measurements, electrical quantities and many other special tests. It can be regarded as the most advanced instrument for quality assessment and maintenance monitoring of advanced transmission systems and copper wire pairs used in a wide range of systems: from traditional telephony (POTS) to ADSL and VDSL.

When configured appropriately, the tester can perform „single-ended” measurements in a simple and fast way, or highly accurate end-to-end measurements working together with another ACT6000 tester. The tester’s wide measurement range allows the quality assessment and certification of copper lines used to transmit digital streams in the frequency range up to 6 MHz (or optionally up to 30 MHz). In addition, the tester can automatically extrapolate the maximum expected transmission rate on the tested copper line for DSL and VDSL.

The ACT6000 can be configured for in-depth analysis using special functions and internal, optional modules. Using these modules allows quick and easy detection of anomalies or faults occurring in the tested line or communication system.
