BINNA 2 is the latest interferometer from Dimension. Equipped with Auto Focus and Auto Calibration functions, which means the entire test takes only 0.5s.

The new optical and mechanical design extends the fiber height measurement range to -1000 ~ + 1000 nm under all test conditions.
Automatic centering
BINNA 2 has an automatic image centering function that can locate the fiber and automatically center it with a single click. There is no need to drag with the mouse or adjust the hardware.
One-click measurement
In addition to clicking the MEASURE button, the operator can press the button next to the device to start the measurement. BINNA2 can also be configured to start the process automatically when the device is detected as locked.
Auto Focus and Auto Calibration
Using the latest Dimension hardware and software, BINNA 2 can automatically focus and calibrate. No human interaction is required throughout the entire measurement process.
Only 0.5 s to complete the test
Excellent software and hardware significantly improve the testing speed of BINNA2. Testing a single fiber connector takes only 0.5 seconds.
Cleave angle measurement of bare fibers
Dimension technology integrates various product measurement functions into BINNA2 according to customer requirements. BINNA2 can test the cleave angle of the fiber.
Angle accuracy control
The APC angle control accuracy is 0.003 °. Angle tuning is performed automatically with a preset range of 0 ~ 12 °.
Self-adjusting locking force
Thanks to a specially designed self-adjusting element, the ferrule locking force is constant. Device wear is limited, and the device life cycle is longer than ever before.
Stable data connection and excellent vibration damping
BINNA2 features USB 3.0, like other Dimension interferometers, to ensure stable and fast data transmission under all conditions. The unique hardware design helps maintain a stable and accurate test result even on a factory floor with a large amount of vibration.
