The AcqKnowledge data acquisition and analysis software included with every MP system is an interactive, intuitive waveform analysis program that lets you instantly view, measure, analyze and transform data.AcqKnowledge is the software component of a complete research system, included with the BIOPAC MP160 and MP36R data acquisition and analysis platforms, delivering advanced analysis for many applications and a wide range of signals and measurements.

Software features include:

Acquisition options – variable sampling rates, pause mode, multiple data views, and stimulation design and control

Display options – an advanced grid system, a journal function for taking notes, embedded PDF documents with instructions, text-based event markers and measurement tools

Analysis options – online signal averaging, ensemble averaging, epoch analysis, AR time-frequency analysis, principal and independent component analysis, autoregressive and nonlinear modeling, automated analysis routines, filtering, FFT, PSD, Histogram, automatic data reduction, template analysis, peak detection functions, find-rate settings and an equation generator

User interface options – moving the mouse cursor (for sampling rate, channel rate, measurement results, etc.) as well as real time, custom presets, a change log, searchable MP system guides (PDF format), and extensive online support and training documents.

With AcqKnowledge you can perform complex data collection, triggering and analysis using simple drop-down menus and dialog boxes – there is no need to learn a programming language or a new protocol.

AcqKnowledge software includes fully automated analysis routines for most physiological signals!For ECG data, use the automatic HRV analysis or locate and mark the boundaries of the ECG complex for both human and animal signals.Take advantage of the many available routines: EEG, EDA, EMG and Respiration.Look at RSA or perform a detailed ICG analysis with a few mouse clicks.Use AcqKnowledge to save time and standardize your analysis protocols.

An intuitive planner for animal research: an easy-to-configure calendar display – select a subset or the full range of animals for long-term recording.

A configurable display: view data in multiple modes simultaneously. Signal conditioning tools include: filtering and artifact removal.

AcqKnowledge: Multi-Animal, Multi-Channel, simultaneous automatic data analysis.The routine analysis extracts mean values and standard deviations from data segments. Powerful, automated detection routines for seizures, EMG, ECG, HRV, EOG, EGG, EEG and dozens of others. Results can be easily exported to Excel for further statistical analysis.

The Stellar Telemetry transmitter enables the measurement of activity, pressure, respiratory volume, electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG), electroencephalogram (EEG), electromyogram (EMG), electrooculogram (EOG), heart rate and temperature. This software version also includes a BIOPAC Basic Scripting license.

A licensed add-on to AcqKnowledge integrating FaceReader 8 (the interface license does not include the FaceReader software).The software analyzes facial movements to classify the subject’s response.Easy integration with physiological parameters from the MP160 research system or eye tracking data.Once AcqKnowledge is launched, FaceReader data is automatically synchronized and saved in the same graph file.Monitor the data on the FaceReader display for real-time feedback.
