CLETOP Series – original version with proven reliability. Type A – for 1.25 mm and 2.5 mm ferrules (SC, FC, ST, D4, MU, LC). Type B – cleans SC, SC2, FC, ST, DIN, D4, MU, LC, MT, MPO/MTP without guide pins and MT-RJ without pins. Type MPO – accepts MPO/MTP connectors with guide pins. Type MT-RJ – accepts MT-RJ connectors with pins. Replacement tapes available in blue and white versions.

Pits and scratches often result from contamination. Dust, dirt and oils are everywhere and migrate onto exposed connector end-faces, attenuating the signal and increasing the digital error rate.
