AFL Connector Inspection Adapter Tips (for FOCIS probes)

Tips for MPO/MTP connectors

Tips for FOCIS Lightning®/Lightning2 cover inspection of MPO bulkheads found in panels and pre-term modules. Fully keyed (MPO-12/24 and MPO-16/32), partially keyed (fitting both standards) and keyless versions are available. For single-mode MPO connectors with an 8° angle (APC), select a tip with a matching angle. Examples: FLTNG-01-M12A (MPO-12/24 APC), FLTNG-01-M16U (MPO-16/32 UPC), FLTNG-01-MPU (partial key).

Tips for single-fiber connectors and ferrules

Universal tips for 1.25 mm and 2.5 mm ferrules (UPC and APC) support LC, SC and FC: FFLX-01-U125, FFLX-01-U25, FFLX-01-A125, FFLX-01-A25. For bulkheads, FFLX-01-SC, FFLX-01-FC, FFLX-01-ST, FFLX-01-LC and others are available, as well as quad-slotted APC tips and tips for E2000, MDC, SN, EVOLV® and NG4.

Working with the DFS1 probe and special tips

For the DFS1 probe and the FOCIS series, tips are available for 1.6 mm termini, ELIO 1.25 mm, SMA 905, LEMO, MU/PC, Q-ODC, as well as an extensive set of tips for MTP/MPO (PC and APC, single- and multi-row). Extension tubes FFLX-01-EXTS46 and FFLX-01-EXTS80 provide access to connectors in crowded or recessed patch panels.
