ToupTek sCCD is a cooled CCD camera for spectroscopy and weak-signal imaging, based on Teledyne e2v sensors (e.g. CCD261). High quantum efficiency and stable response in the 300–1000 nm range make it a good choice for Raman spectroscopy, photoluminescence and hyperspectral imaging.
The scientific-grade CCD architecture provides low noise and high linearity – key in spectroscopy and weak fluorescence detection. A typical configuration combines a 15 µm pixel with a 2048×1 output, balancing photon collection with spectral sampling; deep TEC cooling (ΔT≈55°C) suppresses dark current during long exposure.
