Tunable Fabry-Perot Filters

The FFP-series tunable fiber Fabry-Pérot filters from Luna Innovations (technology developed by Micron Optics) are all-fiber resonators without collimating optics, tuned piezoelectrically at low voltage. The lensless all-fiber design eliminates alignment issues, delivers low insertion loss and high finesse, and its reliability is confirmed by Telcordia GR-2883 qualification and decades of operation in OEM applications.

Model families

FFP-TF / FFP-TF2 — tunable Fabry-Pérot filters; the TF2 version in an improved, Telcordia GR-2883-qualified housing with fast tuning. FFPI — fixed-cavity Fabry-Pérot interferometer. FFP-SI — fiber-optic scanning interferometer. AFPI — athermal Fabry-Pérot interferometer with reduced temperature sensitivity. The cavity parameters (wavelength, FSR, finesse, bandwidth) are configured for the specific OEM application.
