OptaSense ATLAS is the latest achievement in Luna Innovations’ line of market-leading distributed acoustic sensing (DAS) technology. This system has been designed to combine the highest quantitative measurement sensitivity with an unprecedented operational range, all housed in a compact and energy-efficient enclosure.
Unmatched range (up to 190 km): ATLAS enables continuous asset monitoring over distances that previously required multiple measurement units. It is an ideal solution for long-haul pipelines and national borders.
Quantitative measurement (phase and amplitude): Unlike qualitative systems, ATLAS measures the exact phase and amplitude of the acoustic signal, guaranteeing the highest precision and enabling advanced data analytics.
Multi-channel capability (up to 4 fibers): A single IU (Interrogator Unit) can handle up to 4 separate sensing fibers, significantly lowering capital expenditure (CAPEX) on complex installations.
Compact and efficient design: The device occupies only 2U of rack space and draws less than 90 W of power, making it the most efficient system in its class, ideal for operation at remote technological sites.
