The MMVNA-200 is a comprehensive, configurable and cost-effective tool for production and laboratory testing. Thanks to a wide range of adapters and test fixtures, it enables testing of raw cables, connectors, patchcords and cable harnesses, significantly reducing the time needed to set up the test environment. The powerful VNA Manager Pro software provides a broad choice of S-parameter configurations, an unlimited number of plots and clear, traceable reports.

The analyzer performs mixed-mode S-parameter measurements in single-ended or double-ended configuration. It can also be integrated with the customer’s own software via a TCP/IP interface or a dedicated command API, making it an ideal tool for both production testing and laboratory testing of RF components.

VNA Manager Pro software

The VNA Manager Pro software runs on a PC connected to the MMVNA-200 and provides full configuration, control, data acquisition, results presentation and archiving. It enables effective use of the vast amount of measurement data generated by the analyzer.

Complete set of S-parameters

The MMVNA-200 is equipped with 4 differential/single-ended transmitters and 8 receivers. During each sweep the following are measured simultaneously: 32 differential-to-single-ended parameters, 16 differential-to-differential parameters and 16 differential-to-common-mode parameters — all in vector form. In double-ended testing, each end additionally measures the same number of parameters in the main–remote relationship.

Measured RF parameters (single-ended configuration):

  • Differential-to-single-ended return loss and crosstalk (SSD)
  • Differential-to-differential return loss and crosstalk (SDD)
  • Differential-to-common-mode return loss / TCL and TCTL transmission (SCD)

RF parameters — double-ended configuration:

  • Differential-to-single-ended return loss and crosstalk (near end and far end)
  • Differential and differential-to-common-mode insertion loss (ANEXT, AFEXT)
  • Full set of Snm parameters at both ends of the cable

DC measurements — cable harness diagnostics

The MMVNA-200 performs DC measurements useful for diagnostics and verification of the device under test (DUT). DC measurements are carried out double-ended by the main and remote MMVNA units.

  • Pass/Fail support for cable wiremap and continuity
  • End-to-end continuity measurement and resistance of each conductor with high accuracy
  • Detection of opens, shorts and miswires in the cable harness

External interfaces and power supply

The MMVNA-200 is optimized for large-scale multi-station testing. One or more units can be controlled via USB or Ethernet. Running under Linux, the MMVNA-200 operates as a network device, enabling flexible control and data exchange over the network.
